1st Meeting of High-Power Committee (HPC) on SCDF & UIDF held, Major decisions taken
Bhubaneswar: 1st Meeting of High Power Committee (HPC) on SIDBI Cluster Development Fund (SCDF) & Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) for FY 2024-25 was held under chairpersonship of Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Odisha Smt. Anu Garg, IAS. on 18.03.2025, Tuesday in 2nd Floor Conference Hall of Lokaseva Bhavan, Bhubaneswar.
Among others, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and MSME Department, Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Principal Secretary, Works Department, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, HT&H Department, MD, IDCO, Director, Municipal Administration, Director, Horticulture, and other officials of State Government, SIDBI and NHB were present in the meeting.
In the meeting held, status of the projects sanctioned under SCDF, new project proposals under SCDF, eligible activities under Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) etc. were discussed in the meeting.
Implementing Departments were advised to expedite execution of the projects as per timeline and submit reimbursement claims to Finance Department.
HPC approved 2 projects costing of Rs.335.77 Crore of Industries Department namely 10 MLD CETP at Paradeep and 30 MLD Deep Sea Discharge at Paradeep for funding under SCDF.
Common Utility Corridor in Odisha is coming up at Gopalpur, Ganjam under SCDF with project cost of 173.02 Crore. It is the first of its kind Utility Corridor in the State which will cater to the demand of existing and upcoming industries in Gopalpur Industrial Park.
Implementing Departments were suggested to identify eligible infrastructure projects under UIDF.
