24-Hour Ambulance Service Dedicated on AAFSA 4th Foundation Day

Jajpur: On the occasion of its 4th Foundation Day, Aryalex Foundation for Social Activities (AAFSA) organized a celebration and inaugurated a 24-hour ambulance service at Vyasadev Town Hall, Vyasanagar, Jajpur, reaffirming its commitment to healthcare and social welfare.

The ambulance service was made possible by newlyweds Samarendra Das (Pintu) and Neha Mohanty, who donated their wedding gift amount for social service in memory of Late Satyananda Das, founder of KGI, noted educationist and social worker. The ambulance will operate round the clock from Jajpur Road Medical, with beneficiaries required to bear only the fuel cost.

The programme was graced by Jajpur Lok Sabha MP Shri Rabindra Narayan Behera as Chief Guest, who inaugurated the ambulance and lauded AAFSA’s service initiatives. Vyasanagar Municipality Chairman Shri Subas Chandra Bal attended as Guest of Honour.

During the event, Ms. Banita Swain was appointed as Korei Block Coordinator of AAFSA. Several individuals and organizations were felicitated, including Odisha Driver Mahasangh (Korei and Vyasanagar units); brave child Satya Prakash Sethi; Priyanshi Biswal; ten newspaper distributors; Shri Sanjib Kumar Mishra, Head of Priyambada Eye Hospital, Puri; Mahalaxmi Yuvak Sangh; child artist R. N. Ayans; environmentalists Prafulla Kumar Sahu and Akshay Kumar Jena; and Shesha Parichaya Old Age Home.

AAFSA Founder Dr. Alexzandar Das reiterated his resolve to work for the welfare of the last person in society. Ms. Jyotirmayee Mohanta, Program Coordinator, presented the annual report. The programme was conducted by Ms. Subhalaxmi Jena and Ms. Sumitra Mohapatra, with the felicitation ceremony coordinated by Shri Sai Swarup Biswal. The vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Manoj Kumar Das, Jajpur Head.

Others present included former Chairperson Ms. Sabita Rout; media persons Uday Khandai, Chintamani Padhi, Harshabardhan Behera, Sarat Pathal, Umakanta Rout, Santosh Kumar Sahu, Kalpataru Dhir, Gyanaranjan Ojha and Bhuban Mohan Mahanta; senior sports personality Bajrabahu Simanta Kesari Samal; Ms. Kamala Das; Lina Rani Rout, Sasmita Das, Gagan Bihari Das; and members of KGI and AAFSA.

The programme concluded with a collective reaffirmation of AAFSA’s mission of compassionate and inclusive social service.
