500 units of blood were collected in a blood donation camp organised by Tata Steel Kalinganagar in association with Aama Odisha, DHH, Jajpur and Red Cross blood bank, Cuttack at Green Transport Park, Tata Steel Kalinganagar on Thursdsay.
The inaugural session was attended by Karamveer Singh, General Manager (Operations), Tata Steel Kalinganagar in the presence of Sanjay Prakash, Chief Security, TSK & TSM, Sangram Singh, District Correspondent, Sambad and other officials of Aama Odisha and Tata Steel Kalinganagar. The closing ceremony was attended by Ashutosh Kumar, Chief, SMS,TSK along with other senior officials of Tata Steel Kalinganagar. Apart from employees of Tata Steel, contract workers, and vendor partners participated in the blood donation camp and were awarded with certificates and saplings by the dignitaries
The initiative led by Logistics Department of Tata Steel Kalinganagar aimed to bolster blood reserves and support the healthcare needs of the community.
Representatives from Aama Odisha and the Red Cross Society along with officials of Logistics Department, Tata Steel Kalinganagar were present at the camp to ensure a safe and efficient blood donation process.
