108 ambulance crew save life of a helpless old man by donating blood
Redhakhol: A helpless elderly man named, Palau Pradhan (70) of Talpal village under Kisinda police station was admitted to Redhakhol Hospital for treatment for last three days due to various old age-related disease. The concerned doctor, Dr. A.K. Rout told his assistant about the need of blood for the patient. But unfortunately O’positive blood group blood was not available in the blood bank of Redhakhol sub-divisional hospital for the last two days. That’s why his assistant was frustrated that he could not get the required blood. Meanwhile, they came to know about 108 ambulance crew donating blood from a hospital staff at different times and requested help from the 108 ambulance crew there. On receiving information from the crew of Redhakhol 108 ambulance, on the request of Sambalpur District Cluster Leader Pradeep Kumar Pradhan, the pharmacist of 108 ambulance at Kisinda police station, Shravan Sahu, came forward to donate blood. The hospital authorities have praised the efforts of the ambulance crew.
