TPWODL has Set-up a New 33 kV Feeder Line Chor Grindola GSS to Udayapali PSS is Now Operational
Burla: As part of its infrastructure augmentation initiative for quality of electricity distribution, TPWODL has set-up a new and dedicated 33 kV line from Chor Grindola 132/33 kV Grid Substation to Udaypali 33/11 kV Primary Substation for its domestic, agricultural, and industrial consumers in Bhatli block under Bargarh district.
Before this, electricity to all these areas were supplied from 33 kV Dunguri feeder, originating from the 132/33 kV Padhanpali GSS, which was overloaded. Because of this, the reliability and stability of power supply to consumers were not maintained.
As a strategic decision, company has set up a new dedicated 33 kV feeder line of 12 km distance from Chorgrindola GSS to Udayapali PSS, which will shift the load from the existing 33 kV feeder line. This infrastructure augmentation will improve the electricity distribution in areas like Udeypali, Halupali, Hatisar, Urduna, Bhadigoan, Kashipali, Navrangpur and Bichhuan to 15,000 consumers of different sections of the society.
On this occasion, Mr. Parveen Verma, CEO, TPWODL has stated that, the company has prioritized its infrastructure development activities for Bargarh district, and the project execution team has been directed to complete all such initiatives within the planned time. This project has been completed within 8 months at a cost of Rs 3.28 crore.
