Bhubaneswar: YouTuber Tapi Mishra has found it costly to abuse a woman writer on social media. Banasmita has alleged that the Book Agni Pariksha, published in October 2023, published in The Odia translation of Sanskrit Shiva Tandav was published. Which is Banasmita’s own creation. The publishing rights of this translation are with BK Publications and the visual rights are with Ratna Films. However, alleging that Tapi Mishra had released the Odia Shiva Tandav by saying that he was the author of the song without an NOC, Banasmita filed a case at infocity police station and demanded a compensation of Rs 50 lakh. Tapi, however, was putting pressure on the writer to take up the reverse case. Another FIR was lodged at Banasmita police station alleging that she had threatened her by using foul language in front of Facebook and social media. After which the Infocity police arrested Tapi today and sent him to the court.
