Bhubaneswar, Aug 20, 2025: Shyam Metalics, an integrated metal producing company marked the 79th Independence Day with great pride and patriotic spirit across all its units, where employees, their families, and local communities came together to honour the nation’s journey of freedom. From West Bengal to Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, each unit of the company celebrated the occasion with the ceremonial hoisting of the Tricolour, cultural programmes, and activities that reflected the spirit of unity, responsibility, and progress.
In Odisha, the Sambalpur unit held special significance in this year’s Independence Day celebrations. The occasion began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a disciplined parade by the company’s security personnel. Senior leaders addressed the gathering, reflecting on the company’s milestones in growth and production, while also announcing a green initiative to plant 20,000 saplings this year, reaffirming the group’s long-term commitment to sustainability. The event also featured a reward and recognition ceremony to honour employees for their outstanding contributions.
