Noida to Host Grand International Shri Jagannath Pancharatra Mahotsav

Bhubaneswar: This December, Noida will transform into a vibrant center of devotion and culture as the International Shri Jagannath Pancharatra Mahotsav unfolds at Ramlila Ground, Sector 21A. Organized under the banner of the Samudayik Vikas Samiti, the five-day celebration from December 3 to 7 is set to bring together devotees, saints and cultural ambassadors from across India and more than 30 countries.

According to FCA Dr. Manoranjan Mohanty, President of the Samiti, the Mahotsav will not only be a spiritual celebration but also a platform to present the global essence of Jagannath culture. Devotees and representatives from 30 to 35 countries are expected to participate, along with members from nearly 1,000 Jagannath temples worldwide.

The Samiti stated that preparations are being carried out with collective efforts. Pramod Bhal ,Nityananda Rout, Guruji Gautam Rishi and Acharya Shailesh Tiwari are leading the organizing responsibilities, supported by Swami Devanand Saraswati ,Dhaneswar Nayak, Santosh Rout, Akshya Samal, G.P. Samant, Alok Padhee, Bimal Barik, Pritam Nayak, Ramkrishna Sahoo, Jitender Mukhi, Ranjan Dada and Sanjay Mishra.

In addition, Jagannath temples from across Delhi-NCR are actively participating. Shri Ravi Pradhan along with representatives of 27 temples will be part of the Mahotsav. The event will also see contributions from Dr. Chidatmika Khatua, Deepak Rath, Subrat Jena, Shailesh Anandani, Namit Gautam and Bharat Kumar. Other committee members are also engaged to ensure the successful execution of the event.

The Samiti confirmed that saints and seers from Ayodhya, Odisha and other major religious centers across India and abroad will attend. Their presence is expected to provide spiritual guidance and add to the sanctity of the Mahotsav.

The Mahotsav will run daily from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM, featuring Mangala Aarti, Bal Dhoop, Yajnas, devotional discourses and bhajans. Evening sessions will include cultural performances such as Odissi, Kathak, Gotipua and Mahari dance. Devotees will also witness the 24 forms of Lord Jagannath, along with daily discourses on the Skanda Purana.

Over 100 yajna sites will allow nearly 400 participants to perform rituals simultaneously. Arrangements for children’s entertainment, including swings, will be available. Food stalls will serve traditional vegetarian dishes from 30 districts of Odisha, with around 60 stalls planned. The Samiti expressed confidence that, like last year’s Rath Yatra festival, this Mahotsav will be a success and will serve as a cultural inspiration for future generations and a symbol of India’s spiritual unity at the international level.
