108 ambulance crew saves life of 14 years old boy by donating blood
Rourkela: 108 ambulance crew member became angel an anemia patient by donating blood. As per the report, a 14 years old boy named, Asutosh Nayak of Juramunda village under Kutra police limit of Sundergarh dist was suffering with anemia and treated at Rourkela Govt hospital (RGH)
As the condition of patient deteriorated, the doctor advised his family members to arrange A+ blood immediately. But at that time, required blood group stock was not available in the hospital. So the patient’s relatives became helpless.
Fortunately, 108 ambulance support staff, Bibhuti Bhusan Mallick, who was on duty at the same hospital at that time and came to know about the patient. Fortunately his blood group was same with Patient’s blood group and without any delay he, donated blood to the patient. For this humanitarian work, the 108 ambulance crew member receives praise pouring in from all quarters.
