Tata Steel Kalinganagar Felicitates Students Belonging Relocated Families
Kalinganagar: Tata Steel felicitated 60 students on successful completion of matriculation and +2 (intermediate) in a ceremony organised at Community Centre of Gobarghati Colony near Duburi under Jajpur District of Odisha on Tuesday.
During the programme organised by the Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) Department of Tata Steel Kalinganagar, 60 students belonging to the relocated families of Tata Steel from Gobarghati, Sansailo and Trijanga were felicitated.
A career counselling session was also organised during the session by Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar to create awareness among the students regarding various technical courses and career opportunities available for them to be industry ready.
The event was attended by Rabindra Kumar Jamuda, President, Tata Steel Kalinganagar Workers’ Union, Subrat Mahapatra, Head, R&R, Tata Steel Kalinganagar, Srikant Kumar Pati, Training in-charge, CTTC Kalinganagar Extension Centre and other leaders from the community including Biren Jamuda, Trilochan Mohanta, Suresh Chandra Haibru, Dhruba Charan Mahanta, Lalmohan Soy and Binod Hembrum.
During the session, Srikant Kumar Pati, Training in-charge, CTTC Kalinganagar Extension Centre also informed the students regarding various skill development programmes and courses run by the Government to enhance the employability of youths.
