Bhubaneswar : The Almond Board of California hosted an insightful session titled A Handful of Almonds a Day: Natural Approach to Supporting Health in Today’s Fast-Paced Lifestyle at Swosti Premium Hotel. The session featured esteemed panellists, including Dr Rohini Patil, MBBS and Nutritionist and popular Odia actress Naina Dash Tiwari, who emphasized the importance of mindful dietary choices and maintaining a balanced diet. During the discussion, the panalists highlighted how incorporating California almonds – world’s most popular – in daily diet can support overall health in today’s fast-paced life. In today’s fast-paced world, achieving a balanced, healthy lifestyle has become increasingly difficult, leading to a rise in lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), these lifestyle diseases claim six million lives annually in India, with chronic illnesses projected to cost the country $6 trillion by 2030. During the discussion, the seasoned nutritionist emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced diet and incorporating natural foods like almonds for optimal health.
