Dhamra : Reinforcing its commitment to community welfare, Adani Foundation the CSR arm of Dhamra Port Company Limited organized a Multi-Specialty Health Camp at U.G. Uchha vidyapitha in Narendrapur Gram Panchayat. The camp successfully provided free medical consultations and essential medicines to 383 patients from Narendrapur and nearby villages.
The programme was attended by Smt. Diptimayee Nayak, Sarpanch, Mr. Amulya Kumar Majhi, Zilla Parishad Member, along with other local dignitaries and representatives from Adani Foundation, who appreciated the initiative aimed at improving healthcare access in rural areas.
A dedicated team of specialist doctors offered comprehensive medical services, including Dr. Sriram Parida (Medicine), Dr. Ashok Kumar Jena (Medicine), Dr. Manisha Vidyabhasini (Dermatology), Dr. Deepak Hota (Orthopedics) and Dr. Gouri Sankar Patra (Paediatrics). Patients received thorough health check-ups, expert consultations, and free medicines.
The health camp saw enthusiastic participation from the community, benefiting 138 men, 199 women, and 46 children, highlighting the pressing need for accessible healthcare facilities in the region.
This initiative reflects Adani Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare outreach and improve the overall well-being of communities in and around the Dhamra Port operational area.
