Adani Foundation Supports PM TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Bhadrak : Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of the Adani Group, has extended nutritional food basket support to 95 tuberculosis (TB) patients across Chandbali, Tihidi and Basudevpur blocks of Bhadrak district, reaffirming its commitment to community health and well-being.

As part of this initiative, nutrition kits were distributed to the on-treatment TB patients to support their treatment and speedy recovery. The beneficiaries will continue to receive nutritional assistance on monthly once over the next six months, ensuring sustained support during their treatment. The program was implemented in close coordination with the District Administration, Chief District Medical Office, and the District TB Cell, Bhadrak, and is aligned with the objectives of the Prime Minister TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (PMTBMBA).

This program was organized at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Chandbali, in the presence of key health officials, including Dr. Santosh Kumar Prusty, ADMO (TB); Dr. Ashok Kumar Mishra, In-Charge, CHC Chandbali; Mr.Akhyaya Kumar Nayak Unit CSR Head, Adani Foundation, Nibas Ranjan Parhi, District Program Coordinator (DPC); Subhasini Panigrahi, PMDT CO; Rajesh Kumar Sahoo, PPM CO, along with officials from Adani Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Unit CSR Head, Adani Foundation, reiterated the organization’s commitment to supporting government-led healthcare initiatives and strengthening community-based interventions aimed at improving health outcomes. Through such initiatives, Adani Foundation continues to play an active role in enhancing the quality of life of TB-affected patients and contributing to the national goal of a TB-free India.
