“BPCL Inaugurates 1st Industrial Natural Gas Connection at TSL’s FAP Plant, Jajpur, Odisha”
Jajpur: On February 20th, 2025, BPCL successfully commenced the supply of natural gas to the FAP Plant of Tata Steel Limited (TSL) at Kalinga Nagar Industrial Area, Jajpur Road, Odisha. This milestone marks a significant step in advancing natural gas usage at the facility, aligning with both BPCL and TSL’s shared commitment to a cleaner, greener India and their dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The inauguration event was attended by esteemed guests, including Mr. Pankaj Satija, Executive In Charge (EIC) of FAP plant of TSL, Mr. B.D. Nanda, Head of the FAP Plant, and Mr. Ravneet Singh, Territory Manager from BPCL. Their presence highlighted the importance of this initiative in shaping a sustainable future for the region.
The introduction of natural gas usage at the FAP Plant is a key development in reducing the plant’s carbon footprint and promoting environmentally sustainable industrial practices.
