Experts call to accelerate firm mechanisation process

Bhubaneswar: Experts have put emphasis to speed up farm mechanisation
process in order to double farmer’s income. They said that in India most farmer
hold land up to 10 acres and this small size limit their capacity to invest in
modernisation of the process. Many companies like Birla-Mhaswadkar have
developed and designed high end tools for small farmers who have less
investment capacity. They also highlight the importance of creating awareness
and educate the small farmers about advance farming equipment to make them
self-reliant in a seminar organised at Bhubaneswar on farm mechanisation theme.
In this occasion company has launched it’s new product, Power Weeder BAM
732G.
Chief Engineer of Department of Agriculture and Food Production Er Rajendra
Besra attended as chief guest and spoke on various aspects of farm
mechanisation. Assistant Executive Engineer K S Chandrasekhar, Advisor, Center
for Socio-Economic Studies, New Delhi Akshay Kumar Sahoo, CEO of Jay Kishan
Agri Solutions Kalpataru Sahu also spoke on this occasion.
An All Odisha dealer meet was also organised by Birla Agro Machine where many
dealers of the state have participated. Company launched its new products for
the farming community. Products were unveiled in presence of Mr Ninad Shah,
MD, Mhaswadkar Autoline Pvt Ltd, Sajjan Saini, Head-Marketing, Birla Agro
Machine and Mr Kalpataru Sahoo, CEO, Jaikishan Agri Solution.
A sales contest called ‘Mission 1000’ also announced by company for dealers.
Dealers have been felicitated with certificate and memento for their exemplary
performance. Dealers were also participated in one to one discussion.
