Shri Pradeep Bal Samanta, Hon’ble Minister of State for Co-operation, Handlooms,Textiles and Handicraft Government of Odisha and MLA sukinda, today inaugurated a Primary Health Centre (PHC) established by Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) at Duburi.
The new 3,740 sq. ft. facility demonstrates TSF’s commitment to improving service delivery and accessibility for the community. Ambika Prasad Nanda, Head of Tata Steel Foundation, Odisha, also attended the inauguration.
The PHC comprises a range of features including improved accessibility with ramps and PWD-friendly toilets to ensure inclusivity, sustainable infrastructure with a roof-top rainwater harvesting system supporting groundwater recharge, and renewable energy integration through the deployment of 30+ solar panels to promote energy efficiency.
