Jio observes National Safety Month with Awareness Campaigns Across Odisha

Bhubaneswar, March 29, 2026: Reliance Jio is celebrating National Safety Month with series of initiatives, impactful awareness campaigns, safety drills, interactive sessions, drawing and painting competitions among children across the state. The month-long awareness campaign kick-started early this month by Mr. Gaurav Kumar, State Business Head, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, from Bhubaneswar.

The campaign is a call to action on the theme of the 55th National Safety Month ‘Engage, Educate and Empower People to Enhance Safety’, for promoting safety practices among Jio employees, their families, and the broader community, aiming to build a proactive safety culture by involving employees and stakeholders in safety initiatives. As part of the awareness campaign a series of activities were undertaken at various facilities of Jio, across the state, reinforcing the importance of occupational safety, health and road safety measures, personal protective equipment (PPEs) at work etc.

Along with awareness sessions, engaging measures like painting and poster making competitions, safety pledge, safety badges, quiz competitions etc. were organised by Jio employees in several cities including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Brahmapur, Rayagada, Bhawanipatna, Keonjhar, Angul, Sambalpur, Rourkela, Baripada and Bhadrak etc, across Odisha. These initiatives garnered enthusiastic participation, with activities designed to educate and engage participants in meaningful ways. Through this campaign, Jio reiterates its commitment to fostering a safety culture ensuring the well-being of its employees, their families, and the wider community.

It is worth mentioning that the month National Safety Month campaign is spearheaded by the National Safety Council of India and starts with the National Safety Day on March 4, which also commemorates the Foundation Day of the National Safety Council.
