KIIT-DU Strengthens Global Ties with MoU Signing and Diplomatic Engagements
Bhubaneswar, March 22: KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, New Zealand, paving the way for new academic opportunities and collaborative research. The agreement, formalized in the presence of New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, was led by Dr. Debraj Pradhan, Director General of International Relations at KIIT, alongside Gus Gilmore, Chief Executive of Te Pūkenga—New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology, and Graham Rouse, Consul General & Trade Commissioner at New Zealand Trade & Enterprise. This partnership will facilitate student and faculty exchanges, while also fostering joint research initiatives in key areas like skill development, artificial intelligence, and vocational education, aligning with India’s vision of a future-ready workforce.
In another major diplomatic engagement, Indonesia’s Ambassador to India and Bhutan, Ina H. Krishnamurthi, along with her delegation, visited KIIT & KISS. The delegation engaged in insightful discussions with the senior leadership team, acknowledging the institutions’ commitment to education and social transformation. The visit highlighted KIIT & KISS’s role in promoting global collaboration and cross-cultural exchange, further strengthening their reputation as leading centers for academic and societal impact.
