Mother’s Public School, Pahala annual day ‘Folklore in Motion’ celebrates diverse Music and Dance of India

Bhubaneswar: Mother’s Public School, Pahala organized its maiden Annual Day ‘ Folklore in Motion’. Which was an insight into the rich history and diverse music and dance of India . Starting from the melodious folk song of Bengal to colourful Garba of Gujarat , from soulful Malayali song and vivacious Bhangra to rich Sambalpuri, all enthralls audience. Every performance filled the audience with a feeling of wonder and pride to be born in an incredible land like India .The audience was enthralled by a serene unity song to show that merit lies in having a united spirit.

Esteemed guests of the event includes Ms Poly Patnaik , Chairman Mother’s Group of schools, Mr Srijeet Patnaik, Director Mother’s Group of Schools, Ms Minati Sabat , Administrator Mother’s Group of Schools. Ms Asha TR, Vice Principal, Mother’s Public School Unit-1,Ms Supreet Rajpal, Principal Mother’s Public School Khandagiri, Ms Sujata Nambiar, Principal, Mother’s Public School, Cuttack and Ms Chitra Ajay, Principal Mother’s  School Pahala.

The event started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries to invoke the blessings of Almighty followed by a wonderful Welcome Ode by the students of STD 3, 4, 5. This was followed by an instrumental medley performed by the students.

The guests encouraged the students and motivated them to excel in everything they take up.Ms Chitra Ajay, Principal Mother’s Public School Pahala presented the annual report. This was followed by the prize distribution to acknowledge the student’s achievements in various fields of sports and science.

The program ended with the proposition of the vote of thanks and an expectation to have a wonderful new year.
