Odisha’s first independent OTT platform ‘AAO NXT’ releases its much anticipated original film ‘Capital Talkies’

Odisha’s first independent OTT platform ‘AAO NXT’ has announced releasing an AAO NXT original movie ‘Capital Talkies’ on Friday, 30th September 2022 on its platform during a Press Conference at Bocca Cafe. The movie is an anthology of two non-connected stories. Both are psychological thrillers based on emotions of fear, greed, lust, revenge and anger. For the time being, ‘Capital Talkies’ will only be released in the Odiya language. The star cast of the movie has actors like Daitari Panda, Hara Rath, and
Lakshya Sharma to name a few. It was directed by the duo Jagdish Mishra and Arpita
Pattanayak. 
With the kind of range, this psychological thriller has been made will be an enjoyable visual
treat for the audience. This kind of content is not so much familiar in Ollywood hence the
expectations are high considering the effort the makers have put into making this venture.
The first-of-its-kind thriller with rare twists and turns of events promises to keep the viewers
at the edge of their seats throughout its run time. 
Regarding this, Mr. Kaushik Das, Founder & CEO of ‘AAO NXT’ said “AAO NXT is currently
focusing on creating original language agnostic content which is available only for Rs. 399
per year. Our goal is to create world-class web series, feature films and documentaries
across a wide variety of genres, satiating the need of 50 million Odias across the globe who
are deprived of quality content in their mother tongue. We are striving toward creating
entertainment content at par with the changing international scenario. We have so far
claimed the best of technology used in developing the application along with its original
Odia content but still have a long way to go to be at par with international platforms which
will turn out to be true soon.”
