Petrol and Diesel Prices Drop in Bhubaneswar, Bringing Relief to Consumers
Bhubaneswar, March 6, 2025: Fuel prices in Odisha’s capital city, Bhubaneswar, have seen a notable decline in the last 24 hours, providing some relief to consumers. As of today, petrol is priced at ₹101.11 per litre, while diesel costs ₹92.69 per litre. This marks a reduction of 0.48 paise from the previous rates of ₹101.59 for petrol and ₹93.15 for diesel.
While Bhubaneswar has witnessed a price drop, Odisha’s Silver City, Cuttack, experienced a slight hike in fuel prices. Petrol in Cuttack now costs ₹101.46 per litre, and diesel is priced at ₹93.02 per litre, reflecting an increase of 0.25 paise in the last 24 hours. Across major Indian cities, petrol and diesel prices continue to fluctuate, with Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai seeing varying rates.
The revision in fuel prices is expected to impact daily commuters and transport services. With the latest drop in Bhubaneswar, residents can benefit from marginal savings, though fuel price trends remain subject to global market fluctuations and government policies.
