Prateek Singh Seeks Blessings of Lord Jagannath Before Taking Charge as New Puri SP
Puri: Ahead of formally assuming charge as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Puri, senior IPS officer Prateek Singh today paid obeisance to the presiding deity of Odisha, Lord Jagannath, at the Shree Jagannath Temple.
In a symbolic gesture of humility and devotion, the newly appointed SP offered his prayers and sought the blessings of the Mahaprabhu for strength, wisdom, and dedication in serving the people of Puri.
Speaking to reporters, Prateek Singh said that it was an honour to begin his tenure in the holy land of the Lord and assured that he would work with utmost sincerity for the security of the devotees and smooth management of pilgrim activities.
With this spiritual beginning, Prateek Singh is set to take over the reins as SP of Puri district, carrying forward the responsibility of maintaining law, order, and ensuring the safety of millions of devotees who throng the holy city throughout the year.
