Ruchika High School to host CISCE National Games and Sports 2023 Football Tournament
Bhubaneswar: With commitment to overall development of students, leading educational institute Ruchika High School excited to share that the school is going to host The CISCE National Games and Sports – 2023, Football Tournament for under 19 (boys) at Bbubaneswar. The tournament will run from 2023 October 6-8 in Bhubaneswar where young player will shown their determination and commitment for the globally loved sports football. Action packed matches are expected from the tournament as thirteen teams will compete for the coveted title. Each team will represent their own region.
Thirteen teams will represent regions include’s Andhra Pradesh,-Telengana, Bihar- Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh- Chhattisgarh, Northwest, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharastra, North India, Odisha, Tamilnadu- Puduchery, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal- North East and UAE.
On this occasion, Leena Khurana, Principal, Ruchika High School, Bhubaneswar said that, ” CISCE National Games and Sports organizes different sporting activities every year under three different categories, 14, 17 and 19 for girls and boys at the zonal level, regional level and the national level. This year Ruchika High School, OR054 of the Odisha region is hosting the CISCE Football Tournament under 19 boys.”
Inauguration ceremony of the sports event will be held at Unit-1 Football Academy on 2023 October 6. Ms. Aswathy S. Commissioner cum Secretary School and Mass Education and Mr. Siddhartha Das, the Director of Sports will join the event as distinguished guests. The Zonal Sports Coordinators will also be some of the guests who will be on the dais.
On the closing day of the tournament on October 8th 2023, prizes will be distributed to winners which marks the end of the tournament. From the winning team the best players will be representing CISCE in the school Federation of India
