Subrata Roy, the revered chief of Sahara Group, breathed his last on Tuesday at the age of 75, succumbing to a cardiorespiratory arrest after a prolonged illness, as confirmed by the company’s official statement.

According to the official communication, Roy was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute on Sunday, following a deterioration in his health.
