State-Level “Young Greenvocate Conclave Season–1” Organized by AAFSA

Bhubaneswar : With the objective of promoting environmental protection and encouraging environmental awareness among the youth, the Aryalex Foundation for Social Activities (AAFSA) organized the first “Young Greenvocate Conclave Season–1” at Swosti Premium, Bhubaneswar.

The conclave focused on themes such as environmental protection, waste to wealth, sustainable lifestyle, and biodiversity. A total of 24 participants from different educational institutions presented their innovative ideas and proposals related to environmental sustainability.

In the competition, SwayamPrangyaSamanta from Ramadevi University secured the first position, while TamannaBhoi from IGNOU secured the second position, and AdityaPatri from St. Xavier International School, Jajpur Road secured the third position.

The competition was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges including former IFS officers Kedar Kumar Swain and Sarba Narayan Mishra, senior climate scientist AshutoshAcharya, and Shakti SwaroopPati from IIT Bhubaneswar, who assessed the presentations and announced the results.

The first prize winner received ₹10,000 along with a trophy and certificate, the second prize carried ₹7,000, and the third prize ₹5,000, each accompanied by a trophy and certificate.

During the prize distribution ceremony, along with the jury members, Priyabrata Mishra, State Head of ASSOCHAM, attended as the Guest of Honour.

It was expressed that the conclave successfully achieved its objective of encouraging young minds towards environmental protection and sustainable development while providing them a platform to present their innovative ideas.

Dr. Alexzandar Das, Founder of AAFSA, stated that the Young Greenvocate Dialogue will be expanded in the coming days across different zones of Odisha and will eventually be organized at the national and international levels.
