THREE IRB JAWANS ARRESTED WITH 15 KG GANJA IN BOUDH DISTRICT
Kantamal: In a major crackdown on illegal narcotics trade, Manmunda Police have seized 15 kg of ganja from a barrack in Boudh district. During the raid, three IRB (India Reserve Battalion) jawans were arrested on charges of ganja smuggling.
The operation was conducted following intelligence inputs, leading to the successful seizure of the contraband. Speaking on the arrests, Boudh SP Rahul Goel confirmed the development and stated that further investigation is underway to uncover possible links in the smuggling network.
The accused will be produced before the court, and strict legal action will be taken as per the law. Odisha Police remains committed to curbing illegal drug trafficking and ensuring law enforcement integrity.
