TPCODL Empowers Rural Odisha with Resilient Climate Action Program for Sustainable Agriculture
Bhubaneswar: In a major step toward sustainable rural development, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has launched a Resilient Climate Action Program under its flagship community development initiative, Samriddhi, in Kujang Block of Jagatsinghpur district.
The program aims to promote climate-resilient agricultural and allied practices, equipping farmers with the knowledge and tools necessary to adapt to changing climate conditions. It focuses on strengthening community preparedness, reducing climate-related risks and enhancing income stability for farming households through enterprise development.
TPCODL is ensuring that these innovative practices are not only introduced but also effectively adopted at the grassroots level. Through training sessions and field demonstrations, the initiative is designed to foster long-term behavioural change and build resilience in the agricultural sector.This program reaffirms TPCODL’s commitment to community empowerment, environmental sustainability and inclusive development across its operational areas.
