TPCODL successfully conducts Two-Day Vigilance Workshop during Vigilance Awareness Week 2023

Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has successfully concluded its observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 from October 30th to November 5th, under the theme “Say no to Corruption: Commit to the Nation.”
A significant highlight of the Week was the two-day Vigilance workshop held at TPCODL Management Development Center (MDC), graced by various prominent dignitaries, including Mr. Arvind Singh, CEO of TPCODL, and Tata Power officials.
Day 1 of the Vigilance workshop, led by esteemed Mr. S Jaganathan, Sr. Advisor (S&V), TPC, witnessed insightful discussions and valuable interactions. With 38-40 Vigilance Officers from all four DISCOMS in attendance, the workshop provided a comprehensive introduction to TPC’s business processes, enriched by the invaluable insights of experienced domain experts.
Day 2 of the Vigilance workshop featured packed sessions, including discussions on discrete and open inquiries, investigation techniques, and the crucial provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The event was further enhanced by the presence and expertise of Shri Radhakrishna, SP, Odisha State Vigilance, Shri Jaya Narayan Rana, Retired SP, CBI. The concluding session was graced by Shri Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa, IPS Director, Vigilance who assured full cooperation to the Management in vigilance matters.
Also as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week the Messages sharing the WhatsApp Number for any complaints on corruption was also sent in the form of SMS to all the registered Consumers. Finally, around 1000 students of DAV Public School Chandrasekarpur, were addressed emphasising the importance of imbibing values of integrity and honesty. The children were also administered with the Integrity Pledge on the occasion. Thus the Week long observance of Vigilance Awareness Week culminated in a meaningful manner.
