Empowering a sustainable future, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) function of TPWODL has setup a Solar PV Installer Vocational Training Centre, named Suryamitra at Kuchinda, Sambalpur. This learning centre was inaugurated on Dt. 27.11.2024. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Mitu Panda, Asst. director, OREDA Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar Kishan, Chairman, Kuchinda block.
This training program is designed to provide hands-on training and certification in solar PV installation, maintenance, and repair. We aim to create a workforce that is skilled, employable, and committed to sustainability. The facility is expected to benefit a wide range of individuals, including local youth, aspiring professionals, and technicians looking to specialize in solar energy systems. In addition to benefiting the local workforce, TPWODL anticipates that the training centre will also contribute to the broader economic development of the region by creating a skilled workforce for the growing demand in renewable energy sectors.
