TPWODL to Organize Special Camps for Settlement of Electricity Theft Cases on March 30–31
Burla, March 26, 2026: TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and Government of Odisha will organize a Special Enforcement Camp on March 30 and 31, 2026, across its operational areas.
The initiative aims to provide consumers with a convenient and transparent single-window platform to resolve cases related to unauthorized electricity usage and theft.
The decision follows the success of the Lok Adalat held on March 14, 2026, where TPWODL resolved more than 5,600 enforcement-related cases on the spot. The initiative helped consumers settle disputes through a simple and hassle-free process, highlighting the effectiveness of such platforms in addressing large volumes of pending cases.
Encouraged by this response, TPWODL has appealed to consumers with pending enforcement cases to participate in the upcoming special drive and avail the benefit of on-the-spot settlement. This will help them regularize their electricity connections and avoid further legal complications.
The camps will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at all Division, Sub-Division, and Section Offices under TPWODL’s jurisdiction. Dedicated teams comprising enforcement officials, legal experts, and support staff will be available to assist consumers throughout the process.
Consumers are advised to visit their nearest TPWODL office to get information about eligibility, required documents, and settlement procedures. TPWODL has urged all eligible consumers to take advantage of this limited-period opportunity and resolve their cases promptly through this simplified mechanism.
