Tata Steel Kalinganagar marked the occasion of Republic Day with a grand celebration held at the DET Playground, Training Centre at Kalinganagar in Jajpur district.
The event started with the ceremonial unfurling of the national flag by Uttam Singh, Vice President (Operations), Tata Steel Kalinganagar, who led the gathering in honouring the nation’s democratic heritage. The ceremony was attended by senior officials of TSK, Union representatives, and a large number of employees accompanied by their family members and residents from the local community.
Followed by unfurling of national flag, the celebrations was followed by ceremonial parade and specialised mock drills conducted by the security personnel. On this occasion, several security personnel were also felicitated for their bravery and exemplary display of courage and commitment to duty.
Adding a vibrant touch to the celebrations, employees and family members performed various patriotic cultural programmes, celebrating India’s diverse traditions through music and dance.
Similar celebrations were also organised at Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) and Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL), where the national flag was unfurled by Padmapal, MD & CEO, NINL and Rajesh Chaudhary, Chief, TSDPL, Kalinganagar, respectively.
