Infinity Round Table: Transforming Elderly Care
Bhubaneswar: Infinity Group recently organised a roundtable on CSR Opportunities in Geriatric Care & Wellness, with a special focus on Empowering Golden Years—New Horizon, to commemorate the International Day for Older Persons. The event highlighted the crucial role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in addressing the challenges faced by the elderly.
The roundtable featured thirteen distinguished speakers, including L. Ramaswamy, Vedanta Scholar and corporate resource, Vedanta Institute; Nilanjana Maulik, Secretary, Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India, Calcutta; Dr. Uma Dasgupta, historian and Tagore biographer; Dr. Sidharth Shankar Anand, Consultant Neurologist, Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata; and many others.
Discussions addressed topics such as empowering seniors through intergenerational solidarity and revolutionising geriatric care models for ageing populations. Speakers emphasised the importance of CSR initiatives and funding for innovative wellness programs that cater to seniors’ healthcare, emotional, and social needs.
Aninda Das, Vice President, Marketing at Infinity Group, announced the launch of Jivagram at Jagriti Dham, Kolkata. Jagriti Dham and Banchbo Healing Touch Foundation launched an exclusive elderly wellness YouTube channel, ‘Age Well—Live Well’.
