Rourkela: Odisha celebrated a proud achievement on the global skills map as Komal, a talented young innovator from Rourkela, won the Bronze medal in Industrial Design Technology at the prestigious WorldSkills Asia Competition 2025. Her victory not only reflects India’s growing strength in design-led manufacturing and engineering but also reinforces Odisha’s rising leadership in nurturing high-potential technical talent ready for Industry 4.0 opportunities.

Komal’s medal-winning performance showcased exceptional proficiency in concept design, 3D modelling, product engineering, and advanced digital prototyping—skills that today define modern innovation and industrial competitiveness. Her journey—from first discovering design engineering to earning the opportunity to represent India on Asia’s largest skills stage—demonstrates relentless dedication, creative thinking, and mastery of emerging technologies. Competing against the continent’s finest young engineering minds, Komal excelled through complex problem-solving challenges that required precision, speed, and innovation.
