Balasore: The Class 10 result announcement by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, marked a defining moment for Physics Wallah. In its very first year, students from PWs Board Booster Odia 10th 2026 batch delivered an exceptional performance, led by AshutoshNayak, a student of K C Saraswati ShishuVidyamandir, Soro, who was amongst the top rankers with an outstanding score of 588 out of 600. Close behind him are Ayushman Das and Sumit Kumar Dash, both scoring 582 out of 600 and emerging among the top performers in the state. In addition to the batches, the students had also studied from PWs Odisha Board YouTube lectures.
Talking about his result, Ashutosh said,Studying through PWs Odisha Board lectures, especially in a language I am comfortable with, made a huge difference. Concepts felt clearer, and I could focus more on understanding rather than memorising. The regular practice and guidance from the faculty helped me stay consistent throughout the year, he said.
Congratulating the students, AlakhPandey, Teacher and Founder, PhysicsWallah (PW) said, These results belong to our students, their discipline, their quiet sacrifices, and their belief in their dreams. This is our very first year in Odisha, and what makes this even more special is seeing students truly understand what they are learning.
Over 28 students from PW scored 90% and above, while several students achieved perfect scores and demonstrated strong command across Mathematics and Sanskrit, highlighting both analytical ability and linguistic understanding. This is notable as this represents the first year of PhysicsWallahs academic offerings aligned to the Odisha Board. Ashutosh, who is a top ranker, credited his success to his parents, teachers and PWs online lectures for helping him stay consistent and strengthen his concepts.
