Balasore, September XX, 2024: Subarnarekha Port in association with Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), successfully conducted a Regional Samvaad at Deula Gram Panchayat, uniting community leaders, women members, and youth from the tribal communities of Deula, Madhupura, Dagara, Betagadia, and Chaumukh area of Baliapal.
This event served as a vital platform for open dialogue on tradition, culture, education, and health, promoting community engagement and fostering mutual understanding.
The program was attended by key local officials, including the Janak Naik, Tahasildar, Baliapal, Binod Kumar Panda, Block Development Officer (BDO), Baliapal and Bramhananda Swain, Inspector-in-Charge (I/C) Baliapal, along with the Saroj Kumar Pila, Sarpanch and Panchayat Samiti member of Deula GP. Pramod Kumar Patra, Unit Lead,TSF Balasore, also contributed to the discussions.
During the event, participants explored the key components and objectives of the Samvaad, focusing on empowering tribal communities by addressing their unique challenges and aspirations. Group activities facilitated discussions on various themes, with participants divided into five teams to encourage active engagement.
