Tata Steel Kalinganagar Celebrates International Day of Yoga

Kalinganagar: With an objective to promote the importance of health and wellness among its employees and their family members, Tata Steel Kalinganagar observed ‘International Day of Yoga’ on Wednesday. On the occasion, Yoga sessions were organised at the Plot 2 Housing and Bamnipal Housing Complex of Tata Steel Kalinganagar.

Apart from these two sessions jointly organised by Administration Department and Occupational Health Services Department, various other Departments of TSK like Engineering & Projects, Security Department, etc also organised yoga sessions inside the plant premises for the employees.

More than 250 people including employees, their family members and contractual employees enthusiastically participated in the sessions.

Rajiv Kumar, VP (Operations), Tata Steel Kalinganagar along with other senior executives joined the programme to spread the message of health and wellness.
Similarly, Tata Steel Foundation’s Rishta Project Kalingangar also organised a Yoga session at Nadiabhanga Village in which more than 120 people, including adolescents, Saathiya, Parents, and Community members participated.
Yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice, increases the natural resilience in the body. Wellness activities for employees, such as this, always get high priority in Tata Steel.
