Vi Delivers top 4G Video, Gaming & Voice App experience in Odisha: Opensignal Report

Bhubaneswar: Leading telecom operator Vodafone Idea (Vi) today shared it has been awarded for its 4G network experience in Odisha, as highlighted in Opensignal’s 4G Network Experience Report November 2024*, where it examines the 4G experience of smartphone 4G users. Vi’s remarkable network augmentation in Odisha highlights its commitment to delivering superior digital experiences to users in the region.

According to the latest Opensignal report, Vi has been recognized for delivering top 4G experience in Odisha across multiple categories, including 4G Video Experience, Live Video Streaming, Voice App Quality, and Gaming Experience.

The findings in the Opensignal report come on the back of Vi’s sustained focus on enhancing network performance across Odisha. Earlier this year in April, Vi successfully raised Rs 18,000 crore via FPO and committed to using the funds to ramp up and enhance its 4G network nationwide.

As part of these efforts, operating on the L900, L1800, L2100 and L2500 spectrum bands, Vi has significantly increased its 4G capacity in the region and operates across more than 3000 network locations. Vi has also enhanced its bandwidth from 10Mhz to 15Mhz on 1800Mhz spectrum band across more than 1550 locations. To further strengthen its 4G coverage, Vi has also added significant number of new 4G sites on 1800 Mhz and 2100Mhz spectrum bands.

With ‘Choice’, customers can choose from an array of benefits from four different categories like Entertainment, Food, Travel, and Mobile Security, as per their requirement or interest.
