Subarnarekha Port Private Launches Mobile Public Health Unit in Baliapal

To serve 28 nearby villages of Baliapl Block
Baliapal: Subarnarekha Port Private Limited (SPPL) has taken a momentous step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility in the community with the inauguration of the Mobile Public Health Unit (mPHU) with support from Tata Steel Foundation. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Santosh Kumar Tripathy, Vice Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, and Sushant Kumar Mishra, Executive Director, SPPL.


The mPHU, is poised to provide comprehensive healthcare services to all 28 operational villages, encompassing 10 Gram Panchayats of the Baliapal block. This will give access to crucial primary health care service at the doorstep including pathological tests, health check-ups, and valuable awareness programs to the villagers.


The unit will distribute free medicines, ensuring that the community receives the necessary medical assistance without any financial burden.


SPPL remains dedicated to its mission of making a lasting difference in the lives of the people of Balasore. Through the Mobile Public Health Unit, it aims to establish a healthier and more resilient community.
